where can i find kids coloring pages to print from the computer? I'm just looking for the simple templates to print from right off the computer for my son and granddaughter, I've seen some copies in my docs. office and thought I would copy some off to keep around the house for the kids. Does anyone know of any good snacks for kids with no additives,artificial flavors or coloring? My 4 year old son is just too hyper and just can concentrate for more than 10 minutes, and I read in a article onces..If you remove all additives, artificial flavors and colorings like red number 40 and so on from there diet is good for there concentration and are less to be all hyper. but i just can't find any good snacks for school for him. does anyone know of any?

What is the order kids learn color recognition in? I had a workshop years ago that stated kids learn colors (shapes, numbers, letters, etc) in a specific order. The speaker emphasized that certain skills or "steps" just aren't learned before the first ones are in place. By steps, I mean the ability to tell the difference between two colors held side by side, ability to name a color when asked, the ability to point to the color being named, etc. Can anyone help?

I am trying to remember the steps to a kids craft project? Years ago I made "suncatchers" with kids. The kids colored in a pattern that was on regular white paper (I think they were supposed to use colored pencils, but it could have been crayons or markers). Once they colored the pattern in, they placed some baby oil on a cotton ball and rubbed the oil on the back side of the pattern. This created a glassy type effect. After the oil dried, a hole was punched at the top and a string was looped through in order to hang the "sun catcher". Has anyone heard of this project? I would just like to know if I have remembered the details of the project properly. Thanks

what do you think of young kids coloring their hair? im 12, 13 in july this year. i have blonde hair, but i'm seeming to not really like the color of my hair that much anymore. i WOULD like to try blonde hair, but we all know that if you color your hair, you cant get your original color back :[ do you think 12 is too young? im in 7th grade, and i actually even know a few 6th or 5th graders who have already colored their hair. and ive been trying and trying to convince my mom to let me color it, but she wont let me. so i wanna know what YOU think. am i too young? should i stick with the blonde hair or go to a brunette? please help ! :D

hair coloring for kids? What do you think about allowing older kids (boys or girls 10+) to get their hair colored if they ask for it? Is there a limit to what you would allow for example would you maybe allow some blonde highlights but put your foot down on going purple or do you feel it's their hair, their choice? My 11 yr old son who is a straight A student and mature for his age recently got contacts and his confidence went sky high after getting rid of his coke bottle glasses. He asked me a few weeks ago if he could get some color added to his hair. He wasn't sure what color at first but settled on blonde highlights. I didn't want to pay big bucks at the salon so I did them myself at home. I did chunky blonde highlihgts in his dark blonde/light brown hair. It came out really good and he loves it! just curious if other parents are ok with allowing their child to do things like this. hair coloring for kids? hey does any one know where i can get hair color for kids? I dont want dye or anything like that. I just want something my little girl can play around with and then wash it right out. They used to have this hair gel that came in purple and blue etc. and it would harden up so the kids could style their hair and then it washed right out... I cant seem to find it anywhere though!! Thanks in advance!! Oh she has blonde hair i dont know if that matters. shes 5... I dont want actual dye or highlights because in my opinion she is waayy to young for that... I just want something she can do her hair with and then wash it out...
